In the past few years, UD1-2-3 retail boxes were most of my boxes purchases. A fun break at 60-70CAD per box during sales (Extended 20-21 was even cheaper!). It's great news for my wallet, I'll stick with my annual OPC Hobby box and retro stuff like SP Legends.
 
The price on S2 hobby has now surged 40% since its initial announcement. Went from roughly $2,200 USD to now north of $3,000 USD.

I may have just decided that UD2 is simply not worth the price this year. Don't have to buy pure and simple.
 
As much as we are a bit upset about the price of hobby. The retail price are the price as last year. So avoid hobby if you want but get the retail. The packs are the same size as the new hobby packs. D&A has it at $24.99 USD

This is great for people who do not break like me.

I been picking up Leafs autos, patches, numbered cards, jerseys for dirt cheap. Even for stars like Marner and Matthews! Prices for stars like these where way higher even a year ago. Seems like if your name isnt Bedard or McDavid no one wants you.
