My Jhonas Enroth PC

I was only expecting one, but I actually received two new pieces for the Enroth collection today!!

The first is a 2019-20 KHL Dinamo Minsk New Year's Exclusive Team Issued card that I received from a collector in Belarus, Minsk. For those who have followed my progress for this collection, you might remember these tough New Year's Exclusive cards from the past two seasons. While a lot of these were printed, they are very tough to acquire due to the nature of this 'release', as they were only gifted to season ticket holders of the club.

The next item was actually used to wrap around the card to protect it, but it actually ended up being a really cool item that I plan to keep for the collection. This appears to be a pre-game Dinamo Minsk lineup card between Dinamo Minsk vs Admiral Vladivostok on November 26th, 2019. Jhonas Enroth's name does appear on the linup card, as his Russian name Юнас ЭНРОТ is the first name listed on the top left-hand column. This lineup card is probably an extremely common given away at Dinamo Minsk games, but for someone like myself who would have never been able to grab an item like this live, I think this is actually pretty cool. Normally I wouldn't care for this stuff, but seeing all that Russian text is pretty neat. One man's junk is another man's treasure.

I hope you all enjoy this collection update. I do very much enjoy presenting these to you all!

Now that is cool!!!!! I love “oddball items” congrats on getting it!!!! Keep showing what you get Aaron!! Cheers! Paul

Those look great together, it's nice to have someone collecting European cards so that we get to see what the offerings are on the other side of the pond. Massive congrats pulling in the #1/3 card, it would have been so easy for that card to disappear into a collection over there.

Those look great! Always cool to see euro designs

Thank you! SeReal (The main KHL card manufacterer) always does a great job with their card designs.

Holy moly, all three of those are absolutely sick cards! Congrats on the rainbow!

Thank you! I didn't think I'd complete this rainbow when I saw the final Stick & Jersey parallel was numbered out of 3 (two of the three were already spoken for after inital Group Breaks). Glad I was able to get it done!

Thanks, Paul! I just knew you'd enjoy that oddball pickup the most. :D

Thanks, Al! I'm glad that I'm able to show these european cards to you all.

While these cards can be very tough to find and the shipping times can be fairly long for some pickups, it's been a blast tracking these down for the collection across the pond.

Another rare and elusive white (or should I say Golden?) whale added to the collection tonight!

2010-11 ITG Between The Pipes Masked Men lll Gold Version /10

There is also quite the story attached to this one, if you care to read about it on my recent blog post I've linked below:

'Golden Boy Is Finally Home'

I hope you all enjoy this update!

Glad you finally landed that bad boy. Sharp card too!

Epic and beautiful addition with an amazing story! Congratulations on finally reeling it in!

Thanks, guys! The story is what makes that Gold Masked Men pickup even sweeter, haha. Thanks for the kind words! One of my favourite non-memorabilia/autograph parallels in my collection I'd have to say right now.

I updated the Enroth collection today with my 27th ITG Final Vault addition. In October of 2018, I lost out on a very similar card (Silver Version with a Silver Vault Stamp) after it was lost in the mail, which is never a fun time. So being able to add more Final Vault cards from this set always feels really good.

These Final Vault cards are really fun pieces to add to the collection and I'm always stoked to add more!

This addition is card #491 in my Enroth collection. Closing in on 500 total cards... :)

Finally updated the first page of this thread with more scans from all the updates I've done for the past 6+ months or so. Got off track there for awhile.

Another addition today!

Every card in my collection holds some significance, even if it's just the base cards. Happy to land this one from SeReal's newest collection!

And this goes without saying, but I do hope people are staying as safe as possible during these unsure times!

Hey Aaron, that’s a beauty! I love memorabilia cards as you actually get to hold a piece of history... the vault cards to me are great, there are some really nice pieces at reasonable prices!!!! Congratulations !!!! Paul

Never been able to look through and fully appreciate this without being interupted until now.
Amazing collection, love all the rainbow sets. I also like the Panini Prime ties card. Never had that type of memorabilia card in hand, looks different and interesting!

Paul, I really appreciate your comments! I agree with you about Vault cards and I really enjoy picking them up when I can - Just like in today's update :D

Andreas, thank you. I really appreciate your kind words about my Enroth collection. I'm sure you've seen quite a few Enroth cards over the years since you're from Sweden and all! :)

The Prime Ties 1/1 is probably one of the coolest cards I'll ever own and was a great set by Panini. I truly wish they still made hockey cards as I feel they really did bring a ton of fresh ideas to the hockey card market that we can still see today.

Let me first preface this mail day by saying that I sincerely hope that everyone is staying safe right now. I'm fortunate enough to be currently working from home and all of the adjustments that come with it. Aside from my own personal experiences lately, we've all had to deal with the day-to-day changes and news reports that we all have to hear right now. So I hope everyone is adjusting the best they can in this new landscape and staying positive along the way.

Okay, time for some cards. It's about time I joined into the awesome show-and-tells that everyone has been pumping out due to the quarantine and additional time that is being spent on our awesome hobbies.

I received a shipment today containing 3 big cards for my collection today. In light of what's going on, this package took about a month to arrive, so I'm glad it finally ended up in my mailbox this afternoon after all this time.

I hope you all enjoy my recent update:

11-12 Panini Limited Brothers In Arms Patches - Miller/Enroth 4/10
12-13 ITG Superlative Past, Present, Future Silver Hasek/Miller/Enroth (2015 Superlative Vault - Green Stamp 1/1)
13-14 Panini Titanium Third Sweaters Memorabilia Autographs Prime 5/5

I didn't know that the Sabres ITG Past, Present, And Future Silver card [Which has an original Pack-Out Print Run #/9] had an appearance in 2014-2015 Superlative Vault, as I had never seen a Superlative Vault version until this Sabres collector decided to sell off some pieces of his collection to me, so to have the opportunity to snag one was really great. Adds another avenue in my collection for sure.

I'm also glad to have landed the Miller/Enroth Brothers in Arms patch along with the 3rd Sweaters Prime /5. I've missed out on a few copies of each over the years and those additions have been a long time coming! :)

Still looking to snag one of those sweet new 2019-20 Upper Deck 30th Anniversary BuyBack 1/1's....

Congrats on the adds, especially the Limited and Titanium cards! I know you'd been wanting those for a while!

Great additions Aaron, nice to see all of the different colours on that Superlative card. Pulling in that Third Sweaters Mem/Auto Prime #/5 and the Brothers in Arms patches at this point in time has to be a real fist pump addition. :D As for those 30th Anniversary Buyback 1/1 cards, that's a slippery slope for player collectors. Buy one, then another, .......well I think you know how that story will play out. ;)

Sorry for the late responses, dudes! Meant to reply much earlier. I always appreciate comments on this rolling thread of mine. :)

Thank man! I had a feeling the Brothers In Arms dual patch /10 would be added one day, but I knew the Third Sweaters Prime /5 was going to give me some issues. A few copies have slipped through my grasps, plus one is locked away in another Enroth collectors collection all the way in Sweden. The Patch Auto 1/1 version is also in Sweden, too. But I'm glad I was able to land them both in the same deal. Gotta love those efficient card deals haha!

Thanks, Al! These two adds were definitely fist pump worth, even if the month long wait did scare me a little haha.

And yeah, I've seen that story play out many times, thankfully Enroth only had 4 1/1 BuyBacks inserted into 2019-20 Series 2. So if anyone manages to locate any of these, please let me know:

  • 2009-10 Upper Deck Young Guns #239 Jhonas Enroth 30th Anniversary BuyBack 1/1
  • 2013-14 Upper Deck #63 Jhonas Enroth 30th Anniversary BuyBack 1/1
  • 2014-15 Upper Deck #25 Jhonas Enroth 30th Anniversary BuyBack 1/1
  • 2016-17 Upper Deck #424 Jhonas Enroth 30th Anniversary BuyBack 1/1

That Titanium absolutely popped right off the page at me!!! Awesome pieces with a great signature!!!! Good luck with the buy-backs... if I see or hear of any, I’ll let you know!! Cheers! Paul

Great additions! Good luck with the BuyBacks! I really like your dedication to collecting and your great input to this hobby!

Very sweet new additions!
I really enjoy your thread

Thank you! I really enjoy contributing to this thread. It's really fun and I'm glad so many people are following along.

Thanks, Paul! The Titanium Third Sweaters card is very unique, kinda like something out of the 90's. Happy to finally land the /5 Prime parallel.

Great additions! Good luck with the BuyBacks! I really like your dedication to collecting and your great input to this hobby!

I appreciate it! Like a lot of player collectors out there, the thrill of the hunt keeps me going, plus hitting collecting milestones along the way is really fun as well. Speaking of milestones, these recent additions put me at a whopping 496 Enroth cards in total. Now that's just crazy.

Thanks for the BuyBack luck!

Updated with my 28th ITG Final Vault addition! Not as cool as everyone else's mailday's of late, but still pretty cool.... to me.

Similar to my last Final Vault addition, the newest Enroth card is from the Ready, Willing and Able set that I really enjoyed at that time. This is the Silver version with the Pink Vault stamp.

This card is number 497 for the collection. Just three off the big 5-0-0 for the Enroth collection!
