Post an Autograph and critique it

Kaden Fulcher...a solid 1.5/10, arguably one of the worst autographs I have ever seen in my entire life, yet somehow still not the worst. Its microscopic size starts the disaster, then apart from the capital letter "F" and underlined "36" making the only logical sense on it, the rest of his...

Tom Barrasso. A solid 9/10 autograph in my book. Why? It is legible, it is actually unique and identifiable as his, and there is an almost artistry to his loops and penmanship.

Felix Potvin...now this, I will give a good 9/10. It's symmetrical, it appears very artistic, and it looks like he put in an effort into giving you his autograph, and not just a quick sloppy signature, a polar opposite to the first one I showed:

Cal Petersen...2.5/10. An attempt was kinda made. Why 2.5? Somehow, I have seen much worse out there.

2008 Upper Deck Montreal Centennial question

There is a local card shop near me that has hobby boxes of it available at about $1100CDN a box. Whether or not they sell at that, I can't say, but it is a point of reference. Those are also quite difficult to find nowadays in any form.

8 Loose Packs of 2013-14 Fleer Showcase Was A Pretty "Great One"!

I say it so often, you never really know what gems are still hiding in those older packs that people are hesitant to try opening because of the risk of redemptions or the risk of getting rookie cards of more fringe guys who have long since retired or are in Europe. Thank you! You and me both...

8 Loose Packs of 2013-14 Fleer Showcase Was A Pretty "Great One"!

Today I was helping a friend of mine move some heavier/bulkier stuff around in their home and afterwards we decided to go for lunch. Before food, however, we headed into a local card store that is a few blocks away from his house. I picked up 8 loose packs of 2013-14 Fleer Showcase hoping maybe...

A Museum Addition Obtained Directly from the Athlete Who Used It!

I agree! By far my favorite memories made during the course of this whole museum/history preservation adventure has been the deals I have made and the interactions I have had with both current and former NHL goalies. Growing up as a hockey fan kid, I never thought it would be possible to...

A Museum Addition Obtained Directly from the Athlete Who Used It!

Our company traded his 2019-20 Toronto Maple Leafs pre-season worn jersey back to him in exchange for the glove and blocker set.

A Museum Addition Obtained Directly from the Athlete Who Used It!

NEW PIECE ALERT! We love getting new items in our museum, whether it be from a private collector, an auction, or a team sale. By far our favorite way to add a new item to the museum is through a trade or direct deal with the athlete who used the item, as is the case with our newest “Piece of...

Question; Ex 2000 Connor Bedard Autographics???

While not disclosed in sell sheets or in the Beckett checklist for it, could it be a possibility that Upper Deck was withholding the Bedard Autographics cards to be an epack exclusive? Like you said, even if it was a short print or super short print, some collector somewhere would have posted...

A Huge Piece Harpooned for the "Szuper Collection"

NEW PIECE ALERT! It is no secret that up there with Arturs Irbe, my other favorite hockey player of all-time is Levente Szuper. Being the first Hungarian born and raised player to ever make it onto an NHL roster is a huge accomplishment and as a dual Canadian-Hungarian citizen myself, I...

Anyone have any idea how the new tariff war will affect cross border sales??

Not at all and I guess what I wrote could be seen quite high-level and "general", if you will. To specify, the particular items our company buys are game worn jerseys, gloves, blockers, and pads that nearly 100% of the time clearly have "Made in Canada" labels within them (regardless of what...

Anyone have any idea how the new tariff war will affect cross border sales??

This! I have been indicating that items going to the USA are "Made in USA" or "Printed in USA" and so far, no tariffs have been charged for buyers on those items. I have also asked sellers to indicate "Made in Canada" on the customs form when coming north across the border and same thing, no...

An Item From This Goalie's ONLY NHL Game? Count Me In!

Thank you, I agree! Gamers used by goalies in their only NHL game are always among my highest priority adds to the museum. It isn't particularly frequent in the NHL. While removal and replacement of nameplates to recycle jerseys is quite common and has been since the nameplate became a thing...

An Item From This Goalie's ONLY NHL Game? Count Me In!

NEW PIECE ALERT! Our first ever San Jose Sharks jersey to grace our museum archives at Heroes of the Crease: Goaltending Museum and Memorabilia Ltd. is here and it is awesome! This also represents the 245th (and kind of the 246th) goalie in our collection of history. What you are looking at...
