OK in the 2002-03 In the Game Be A Player Ultimate Memorabilia 3rd Edition - Ultimate Rookies the rookies were all graded.
At one time there was a place to check and see how many of any particular rookie was graded a 9,or a 9.5 and in some
cases even a 10.So I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find this information. Of course I am looking for Scottie Upshall. PLMK. Thanks.

Beckett population report shows 195 BGS 9's, and 55 BGS 9.5's for Scottie Upshall.

Only 2 cards in the entire 25000 card run graded BGS 10. One was Pascal Leclaire, and the other was Alexei Semenov.

Also, only 7 cards graded lower than BGS 9, all were BGS 8.5's, and 5 of the 7 were Carlo Colaiacovo. :crazy:

I always wondered why there were so few 10‘s. 2/25000 is really low. And I guess ITG sent the card directly to BGS. So the cards had to be literally new.

That is exactly what we did. As soon as the cards were cut they were counted and shipped to Beckett.

That's incredible. I never though about the rest of the print run apart from Kharlamov back in the day. I have yet to see a 9.5 (think there were a dozen or so, if even that many).

Only 3 of the Kharlamov's were 9.5's. On the other hand, 239 Radovan Somik's were 9.5's. :laugh::crazy:

I think the fact that the cards were 99.99% foil had something to do with the lack of 10's. Also, the placement on the sheets could also determine the grades, if certain parts of the blades were slightly duller than others.
