03/04 Upper Deck Trilogy Three Pack Break... The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Saw three, loose, dusty packs on the shelf at my local distributor and thought 'what the heck, let's gamble!'.


Here are the highlights...


Pack #1

Right year, wrong Leaf (he's no Ragin' Matt Stajan).





Pack #2

One of the 1st incarnations of the sticker auto (but he'll always be a Nordique, amirite?).




Pack #3



"Hey, there's a thicky in the middle..."

"Hey, there's a crease in the middle..."



So there you have it. Sometimes you're the dog, sometimes you're the hydrant.





At least the base cards were nice and shiny. Here's Mr. Gretzky for reference...

(and with the worldwide shortage of top loaders, I finally got a chance to put these bad boys to use).




On a side note, while I was uploading these photos from Imageshack, I stumbled across this classic image of our

very own JR Superstar doing what he does best one night at the Expo and had to share it...

Ahh the good ol days of drowning your sorrows after hearing “what is your best price on this 5 dollar card” all day long. Can’t wait to go back lol.

Thank you for sharing the break. Trilogy was awesome back in the days. I love the Goulet, I have the All-Stars version in my collection.
