05-06 SPx Set

This set had lots of great rookies like Getzlaf, Perry, Keith, Seabrook, Ward, Richards, Carter, Suter, Lundqvist and a couple guys that you may have heard of as well, Ovechkin and Crosby. This is one of my favourites for the Flashback Fabrics and having completed the main set I am still collecting some of the parallels as well. Here is what I have so far!

Those Flashback Fabrics are really nice! Anything from 05-06 is so iconic.

Paul, was this the set with the first and only dual player Crosby card that year, Crosby/Gretzky Winning Combos Autographs? Or am I thinking of another set?

The Flashback Fabrics was designed well this year, great job on all you have put together so far!

Hey Barrie you are half right. There is no dual Crosby card but the Crosby/Gretzky Auto card is definitely one of the tougher and higher end cards to get. I have been unable to get one as of yet.

Maybe someday!

I also have the SPxcitement cards and their parallels from that year but figured it would be too excessive to add to the post.

Sorry, that was the only card I was referencing, the Gretzky/Crosby, not a dual Crosby Crosby, my apologies for any confusion! Good luck landing one, I am sure you will at some point, it pops up every now and then, 10 copies? or 25?

I think there were some crazy SPs in the Flashback Fabrics set.

SPx 05-06 is an iconic set, thank you for sharing.

Yes it is a /25 and I have seen a few that were a little pricey. Maybe one day!
