Can't seem to find any scans of the regular base. Anyone?

I was under the impression that the "Gold Medal Set" was the regular card in the boxes with autographs (1 per pack), but appears it's a complete set type of card like the "Commemorative Edition". Am I missing anything else? Also, is the Gold Medal Set limited to a certain number like the Commemorative (1980 sets)?

the Gold Medal Set, on it's original box, has a seal/sticker that states it is out of 9999. also, mine came without an auto.
