Gave it some thoughts and I've decided to start a new player collection. An International Legend that I've admired and for some reason has stuck to my mind more than any other player when it comes to Czechoslovakian hockey, Ivan Hlinka. I have considering doing this several times over the course of last few years, not sure why I just didn't jump on it since he doesn't have that many cards. 40-50 total perhaps.
Valeri Kharlamov will remain my main-focus, but I figured I could have something else on the side during dry-periods.
Will try and put together somewhat of a wantlist for cards. I have 0 at the moment, was dumb enough to sell my only one a few weeks ago...but, I have two autographs which I considering to be a decent start. Reason for starting this post, minus the part as to showing it publicly so people with Ivan cards and related items might contact me, is that Ivan used to be a Vancouver Canuck (Disgusting, right?
) and I was wondering what sort of oddballs and team-issues the team had back in the day, 1981-83, Bruce? 
I spotted a couple via the Beckett search function, but who knows what those fellas are up to these days...
