A questionable patch?

I have found this Tom Sestito APR from the Cup but the reason as to why I am questioning this patch is because that they haven't had neon yellow on there jerseys since (I believe) the 06-07 season? So my question is how can a swatch that has neon yellow be from Tom Sestito's rookie season (08-09) or did UD just screw up again? Please let me know if I have screwed up my facts at all.....Thanks

I have seen Artifacts cards with Picard pictured wearing the bug on his shoulder

Norrena's cup rookie cards have come from patches with the bug.

so they could still be using up some old photo shoot jerseys that still have the bug on their shoulders.. probably get them very cheap...

That looks like its from the old patch with the neon Green hockey stick..... not sure if maybe they got one of his preseason ones from 2 years ago.. prior to the change to the new jerseys...

Sestito was drafted in '06. Did CBJ wear those jerseys then because that's when the photoshoot would have taken place

First of all, never said it was a Fake patch, I only said it was questionable, because I had a question about it. Secondly, I thought The Cup only had game-used patches but I guess I am wrong, because if that card is legit like most of the members are pointing to, then it would be a photoshoot card from when he was drafted. Third this is a very unique patch for Sestito as I have never seen another one that had any trace of neon yellow on it. Thanks to all the members who didn't see my questioning as an attack.

Yes sir, that is correct he would have worn that jersey for the photoshoot.

No one is questioning the patch being changed or anything like that. The question is SOLELY based on which jersey UPPER DECK used for the card.

Yeah- I think a good amount of the photo shoot jerseys are from the draft... so if he was drafted in 06 that would make sense... just like Tim Kennedy's patches are from the red/black Sabres unis, thats what they wore when he was drafted...

i think another set of the photoshoot jerseys come from those on-ice preseason rookie camps UD holds.
