Im not sure how long ago the logo and jerseys were unveiled but i wanted to hear what some Abbotsfordians and other Frazer Valley people thought of the logo and jerseys. I don't think the logo is all that great, but i do really like their jerseys, especially the white ones. I like that they are in the Flames team colors and also like how they put the Canadian Flag and the BC flag as the shoulder patches, much like how Calgary has the Canada and Alberta flags on their shoulders. I think they look sharp and i can see myself buying one if a Flames top prospect like Backlund or Irving ends up playing there. So what did you guys think of the logo and jerseys?

You can watch the number 3 video there of the unveiling of the logo to see the Jerseys, which i think are very nice.

They're not bad looking, the logo isn't bad looking but it's a lot less than I expected it to be. The AHL has some really amazing logos and I think what they have isn't as good as what they could have done.

Yeah, thats basically what i thought as well. Using the Flames colors looks great, but they could have had an amazing looking logo on those jerseys, like many of the other AHL teams. I must say i am a little disappointed in the logo. I do think the white jerseys look nice though, especially with Canadian and BC flags on the shoulders.

Also i heard this is the only AHL team in Western Canada and Western USA. What would be the closest team to them? Sounds like they will have the must travelling in the league to do.

Manitoba Moose are the closest team to them. In order to get the franchise moved they had to agree to subsidize other teams travel expenses as it will be the only city teams have to fly to, they bus to all the others.

it reminds me of a delay of game penalty but as long as their 3rd is the flaming A I'm cool with it :)
