Alec Martinez why so much ?

Hi all. Maybe someone could enlighten me as to why this Martinez gold rainbow 53/53 suddenly became worth so much ? I originally lost out the first time it came up my high bid was $55.88 it went for $56.88 . Sure it was his jersey number but not that great of patch so i did not bid that high (thought i would have won it for $55.88)
Then it was listed again and closed for over $200
Any thoughts as to why so much ?
Maybe i should list my black rainbow 1/1 with a BIN of $500 :devil:

There's a possibility that the private ID that bid $195 is a shill. Still...there are 3 people who bid higher than the shiller did, and neither of them seem suspicious, so....

There are also those lunatic set collectors that all have there certain quirks (first in run, last in run, jersey #, etc.). They crawl out every once in a while.
