Mods please move this if you need to. Every year I make a donation of hockey cards to the Calgary YWCA. What those kids have been through is something I can relate to. Thats why I chose them to support. When I was a kid getting hockey cards was an awesome experience and that is something we can give to those kids! This year's donation will be 65 binders of hockey cards. In each binder will be one set of cards, 3 pages of cool looking inserts and 2 patch or auto cards for each kid.
If you want to help out, anything will work! Im mainly looking for Upper Deck base from the last 2 years. Also any inexpensive inserts, jersey or autos you want to donate. If you have higher end base I can use that too. The Crown Royale, SPX, Trilogy and Artifacts always look cool and can be used as inserts. Here are some pics of this years donation:

If there are any group breakers in your area check with them to see what they can do to help you out with the base. I know that the group breakers I deal with throw in base if I pay for postage.

Awesome idea. I wish I was closer because I am sure I could of helped you out with some of the 2013-14 base cards. I made the trip to Calgary in April of 2014 to pick up a collection and driving through Montana sucks when the weather is nice, I can't imagine driving up there with the possibility of snow.

Hey Dan...this is awesome man!! If this is something you do all the time I will give you all the base I accumulate. Unfortunately I just unloaded everything I had but will give it to ya from now on if you want it.

I wish there was a way for me to ship you all of my base (way too expensive). I have 10 sets of this years 15/16 UD 1-200 that I am trying to move somewhere. Please PM me your address and I will mail some of the inserts I have laying around. It will be a start.

I took in this years card donation today and they we ecstatic! One of the workers went on to say that this would be great for the older kids because they are often overlooked. So Im very happy about that! Thanks to everyone who helped.The HI community has proven to be the best folks and the most giving! FYI: Im 10 sets completed and 10 partial sets into next years donation. If you can help lmk. I need base and inserts. Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year!
