Bruno Gervais (Islanders)
Olivier Michaud (played one game with the Habs)

I recall playing against Cam Barker too and thought he was pretty good just to notice he was only 15 years old playing against Junior aged players.

Tyler Seguin is my 2nd cousin once removed (I think that's the term). His Great Grandfather is the brother of my Grandmother.

Shane Willis who played for the Canes and Lightning back in 01-02 is a cousin. He was in the Lightning system when they won the cup, unfortunately he only played a few games in the bigs that year so wasn't there for the cup.

Similar to someone earlier, I played hockey against Shane Hnidy a long time ago growing up, just small town prairie hockey - he just picked up a Stanley Cup with the Bruins so that's my small connection to Stanley.

Weird -- when we were in the mall, a kid who worked at the Hock Shop was a cousin of McPhee's also. I gave him an autographed 8x10 out of the Thomas Collection we bought and he freaked.

Not related to anyone in the NHL. But growing up in Alaska Scott Gomez was my neighbor for awhile. Also played on team and against Matt Carle, Nate Thompson, Tim Wallace, Eric Walski and a good friend of mine is good friends with Brandon Dubinsky.

great stuff guys, didn't realize so many people had connections to people associated with the NHL. Myself, my 3rd cousin is kenny holland, and my 2nd cousin rhett holland is expected to be drafted in the 3rd round next year!

My only connection to any sort of fame is when I was 11, I used to play street hockey and football with a 5 year old Evander Kane. He was good back then too
