It has been awhile since my last show & tell, but to be honest I have been waiting for my recent BGS grades to come in. 2 Months to be exact!
Let's start with those I suppose, and then I will delve into some of my PC pickups.
Friday's Grosner delivery:
Ovechkin Artifacts RC
That was money well spent...lol
Crosby Artifacts RC
A bit better, but not ecstatic..
Panarin Young Guns RC
Puljujarvi Young Guns High Gloss
RNH SP Game Used Rookie Gold Auto
RNH Future Watch Auto RC
and lastly....the card I was waiting the most for:
Connor McDavid - Ultimate Rookie Auto
Overall, I was not as happy as I expected. I was content with the grades on the bulk of those. However, the Puljujarvi and McDavid I was certain were going to be 9.5 grades. They are in better condition IMO than say the RNH's, yet yielded the same grade. Kind of a head scratcher! All in all...I'm pretty happy to have the Connor in my collection.
Next on to my way overdue pickups. I will start with the bargains I managed to snag, and then onto the real good stuff
Ryan Smyth minor additions:
*First private stock copy I've ever seen!
I'm happy to add the last three to my massive and still growing Smytty short print binder.
Next up...some unique Hemsky Pickups for this ever growing 12 year PC collection.
First > A couple of jersey numbered additions
and some Hemmer's that are finally off my wantlist:

That playmakers patch took me forever to find a copy. The diamond Sens I missed out on a members box break some time ago, but thankfully it re-surfaced. And yet another Hemmer to add to my 1/1 collection with the SP Game Used find!
As always, I am still looking for anything unique like this on the Hemsky front BTW
Now onto the more current shiny stuff...some not earth shattering and then some that make me just giddy like this guy >>> :bliss:
I'm always a sucker for inscription cards, especially when it's my team
and YES.....
Love that set...just need the Gretzky now!

My buddy Jeremy (Gomaz) gave me a friend price at the show on this vintage Fuhr piece, (A) because he knew I was in love with it and (B) I wasn't leaving him alone until he traded me for it....thanks again old buddy :beer:

*Probably my last Eberle pickup, but this was a beauty!
Nice little deal on this Draisaitl from Steve (dahabs26) ...thank you sir!

Big thanks to everyone's H.I. friend and fellow hoarder....Steve (Quincy)..for letting this piece go to me. When he acquired it at last years expo, I thought it was never leaving his sight. Whatever the reason for the change of heart (house flooded, bump on the head.....lol....just kidding)..... I'm glad we worked out a deal for it.
