I figured, seeing it's Father's Day and all, and since all the other new dad's are showing their wares, I should proudly display my newest 1/1, coming July 2012

I have been beaming about her since my wife told me in November. We then decided to keep it a secret, and gave a sonogram picture to our parents as Christmas presents! We've been super excited, and everyone has been really supportive throughout the entire pregnancy!

However, I realized that I hadn't yet shared the exciting news with any of my other family, the HI family! So, I share the news with you today, to help celebrate Father's Day, for all dads new and old!

My, how things have changed. I have seen more sonograms in the past three weeks than I had seen im my lifetime. When my wife was pregnant (21ish years ago), they wouldn't give us a copy - it was 'against policy.'

wow that is awesome. They gave us a 3d picture of our baby and it is sooo cooll!!!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't know how happy I am to hear news like this. It is truly a miracle
 
Being a dad of four boys (26, 24, 14...and 10 today!!), things like this never get old. :D

Congrats on the upcoming new addition to the family...just be a good father and don't let your child grow up to be a caps fan! Do the right thing and raise them as a Penguins fan. It's the responsible thing to do as a parent!!

I swear we are having another Baby Boom.... Just about every other day someone I know
just had a baby... or just found out they are having one .... crazy!!..!!
 
Congrats on your first! These baby announcements never get old.

My wife and I first heard our baby news in the month of October. We decided to hold off on telling our immediate family til the family Xmas dinner. Since my mom's birthday actually falls on Dec. 26th, we decided to break the news to everyone by presenting a 'Happy Birthday Grandma' cake to her at the dinner. Needless, to say shock, surprise and utter joy were experienced that night.

And after 12 years, my son Jordan, has become a hockey card enthusiast like his old man. To be quite frank, this hobby has no doubt made us a lot closer in our relationship as we continue to bust boxes and anxiously await our maildays.

I hope that all the dad's here get to experience that similar joy as well. Happy Father's day everyone and congrats once again Capsfan!

I have 2 girls age 3 & 5. They do something everyday that brings a smile to my face and makes me forget about any other issues in my life that cause me stress.

Being a Dad is awesome. :)
 
Thanks guys! We are getting quite close now! Nursery is painted and crib is set up. Need to move the dresser and rocking chair upstairs next. So excited/nervous! :D
 
Congrats on the first. It's the best gift anybody can receive, even if they cost so much money afterwards, LOL. Here's hoping your kiddo falls on the same day as my wife and first one, July 17th...
