Black Diamond ruby and gold problem ?

Recently i received a black diamond ruby that had rough edges and corners. Someone told me that all the parallels in black diamon this year have condition problem and its really hard to find a mint one. All my regular black diamond cards are perfect, only the ruby seems to be chippy and rough on all edges.

Do you have the same problem or i just ended on a bad seller ?

The scan doesn't show much, but the corner are not perfect and you can see the edge is rough on the side.

I had a Stamkos Ruby -It was indeed chippy...

I think when it comes to Black Diamond, it's part and parcel for the design/ manufacture of the cards.

I may be way off, but also the metallic nature of those cards tend to show defects more...

yep your right kabbykev. But all my regular are okay. Only ruby and gold tend to be more chippy. This is really strange.
