What better way to piss awya a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon then to dust off six (of seven) boxes from the office shelf and crack these bad boys!?
I'm working on a third master set (1-280 Series 1 Base, 281-520 Series 2 Base, All Inserts Both Series) and I was down to Modano Slapshot Artists, Potvin and Irbe Rising Stars to finish that one. Didn't get the Irbe, but let me show you the surprise of the sixth and final box! I don't have "video" but I also have nothing to gain by bullshitting on you folks.
So, let's go! Just showing the inserts (one per pack, 36 packs per box). No need to show the base!
BOX 1 - 11 global greats; 3 slapshot artists; 4 rising stars; 7 rookie standouts; 11 gamebreakers
BOX 2 - 11 global greats; 4 slapshot artists; 4 rising stars; 8 rookie standouts; 9 gamebreakers

Now... here's where things went in every direction but down. I've opened alot of this product in the three decades since the release, but I've never seen a "hot box"!??!?! I'm going to let the pictures do the talking!
What the hell!? 29 Slapshot Artists and 7 Rookie Standouts in one 36-pack box!?!?!? Keeping one sealed Series 1 and one sealed Series 2 on the shelf to collect dust.
