so after a long search, i am sure that i cannot find GU evidence of this flames patch, let alone the yotes patch or the av's patch, so my challenge is for you to to find a flames patch that will match the one in the card, i am 100% sure its fake so have fun with this. yes i bought the card knowing this and care not.

The Flames patch is from the old third jersey with the horse logo. This patch is the shoulder patch of the small flames logo

ahh, i see what part it could, my eyes finally see, there are 2 parts of the flames that could match the color configuration, so the patch may not be fake?

I have a 4 or 5 similar patches, and they are definitely legit. I'd say this is very legit as well. This one is from inside the "C" of the shoulder flames logo. Sweet card by the way!

I've seen a few Phaneuf from that set with similar patches, I would say legit.
