Hi guys

It's not that often that an ex-NHL player turns up in our league, and when he does I like to try and pick up some of his cards.

I was wondering if you guys can help me - Chris McAllister is now playing for the Newcastle Vipers in our EIHL, below is a checklist of his NHL cards and I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on which ( if any ) of these picture him as a Leaf ?

I think I have some McAllister cards... was he ever a Flyer (Philadelphia, not Fife!)?

Yeah, I think he played for Philly, Leafs, Rangers, Avs and was part of the Yotes system ( not sure if he made the big team though ).

He came over to Newcastle during the lockout, and came back this season.

Just wondering if any of the cards are Leafs though

For sure all the 99/00 cards are Maple Leafs. I'm not sure about any of the other years.

Hi Steve

Love the avatar by the way - I've designed some Slapshot cards that I'm going to try and get auto'd TTM ( utilising a basketball Hot Prospects design ).

Anyway, I'm getting side tracked.

I'm only after McAllister's Maple Leaf items - I used to try and pick up all UK based players with a view to selling them onto UK collectors, but the market is so rubbish over here now I'm just looking for goalies or Leafs to keep in my PC.

Here's all of his 99-00 issues except the Emerald and Press Plates. All Leafs cards. These aren't going anywhere, but I'll dig around for extras later today.

Cole - that's amazing thank you for your help.

I would like to add those to my Leafs collection, but I'll be happy just getting hold of one of them to create an auto card to start with.

I am trying to pick up ex-Leafs via TTM too.

He was drafted by the Canucks and played in their system for several years when their farm club was in Syracuse. A couple years with the Nucks and then he was off to the Leafs in a trade, with Darby Hendrickson coming the other way............
