I have a request from an ebay person to remove the unpaid
item strike that they got when I filed the non-paying thing
and got my fees refunded.

My question is, if I remove the strike, will ebay recharge me the
fees I got refunded?

anyone every do this?

Did they pay?
If you do an unpaid strike, they dont refund the fees. You have to request a FVF for them. At that point, you cant remove it. If I'm wrong, I apologize, but this is how I understand it to work.

They never paid and their ebay account went to that
'no longer a registered....' thing.

so I filed for the fees to be refunded.

They are now contacting me to remove the 'strike'.

I don't actually recall putting a 'strike' on them, I just wanted
my fees back. But ebay, must automattically do it.

Anyways, if I file to remove it, ebay may feel the transaction
was then completed and thus, charge me the fees again.

I hate this crap.....

If they didn't pay then they get a strike. Plain and simple. No going back, end of story. If they can't manage their finaces accordingly, why should that be your problem?

If they did pay, then the transaction is complete, and eBay is entitled to their fees.

you sound like a very nice guy if this is bothering you. i think most of us would look at it in the following way, either:

(A) the guy has now paid in full, in which case you could proceed to try and unfile the strike (if you can)

or

(B) the guy has not paid and is still asking, in which case you have no obligation to unfile the strike nor should you as he will just probably continue to repeat his offenses.

another important thing you should note is that your single unpaid strike against him is not enough to get him NARU'ed. he needs multiple strikes from different sellers to achieve that status meaning you are not the only one he is doing this to. hope you don't lose any sleep over this guy.

What he said.

No pay = unpaid item strike.
Item paid = ebay gets money.

Dont try and do the guy a favor by removing it. He obviously didnt do you any favors.

p!ss on the buyer. once they pass your payment timeline and you file, there is no going back unless they pay. then you agree to lift the strike. but if they never paid, like i said...
