I understand why the NFL would want to clean this up a bit but what do you all think about the celebrations? I got to admit it must be nice to have enough free time to come up with something new each week when a touchdown is scored. It is part of the game and I say let it happen but put in some guide lines like thay have such as not taking helmet off or a celebration can only last say five seconds or whatever but I think it is still a interesting part of the game. In a way it like watching a dunk in a basketball game do we want every dunk to be just barly touch the rim with hands? Maybe everyone else in hears feels the way the NFL does and we should just cut out the celebrations and have the players hand the ball to the referree like Barry Sanders did. Here is a short read from foxsports.com

They needed to cut down the celebrations a little and I think the new rules does exactly that. Still, expect to see more penalties this upcoming season.

i don't mind the celebrations of some NFL stars but they do get out of hand sometimes. i think that it is a good rule forthe most part.

The celebration I have ever seen is the ones Barry Sanders did everytime he scored a touchdown. Another reason why Barry was the greatest.
