Flames Alberta/Canada Patches

Might have been asked before, but the Alberta Flag/Canadian Flag patches that now appear on the Flames jerseys - have any swatches of these patches appeared in any of the more recent products yet? They have the potential to make some awesome patch cards.

That's definitely something to keep an eye out for on the 2008-09 releases. Last year was the first year of the new RBK jerseys, so they may not have had a huge supply at UD during the course of last year's releases, but the new stuff could definitely have them. Just wait until the first person posts up a blue/white/green patch from a Flames jersey and asks "WTF?"

Keep in mind that the deal signed to have the Canada and Alberta flag patches on the jersey lasts only through this season as it stands right now. After that, they'll have negotiate with the governments to renew them if they want to keep them on the jersey
