Thank you, thank you very much......... so I couldn't get a ticket to the June NHL Draft today and I'm LIVID. Now I'll be paying scalper prices and that's just soooooooo wrong........... but I booked the day off work so I'm going, one way or another..........



Anyways, here's four things. Thing number one isn't very exciting, BUT..... after selling off chunks of my collection for the last seven months, this is what Amy's car loan looks like.........





........ which means she can afford the mortgage a lot better now without that extra $400 every month weighing on her as well. Plus the sales helped buy most of this years Artifacts Honoured set, a Cyclone Taylor rookie card, and things #3 and #4.......... So YAY!!










Thing #2 is I got off my butt and did something with my President's Choice Bleu Blanc et Rouge Decades set. Part one - a shadow box, 2 for $19.99 at Michael's.........







Part two - a 11X14 Habs logo printed out at Staples.......








Part three - Snap Tites & Gorilla Glue








Andddddd part four - all done :)

Thing #3!!! A few months ago, some local guy approached me on Twitter
offering to sell me the jersey that Ryan Kesler scored his very first point in. I didn't have that kind of money and I've been pretty bummed about it ever since. But then yesterday, HI member and swell fella neilnijjar pointed me over to a Facebook Marketplace post, and now I own THIS, for less than 1/3 of the price of the other one............











2010/11 was without a doubt Kesler's finest pro season, and it fits my fat self perfectly :dance:











And then there was thing #4. frankiefives busted TWO of them from his Leaf Pearl break, I lost out on the 2/2 and I didn't like the color of the foil on the 1/1 so I was all prepared to go yet another season without owning one. But then the 1/2 popped up on eBay and it went surprisingly "cheap" heh. So now I'm a very happy boy. Except for the whole NHL Draft thing.

Congrats on these 4 things!

Loving what you did there with the frame. Maybe I’ll attempt to do the same if/when I ever decide to free my collection from their 9-pocket page holders :D

If I was a Canadiens fan I would probably like that much more but great job Ed. The Cyclone cards are always nice. Maybe you shouldn't have had that last beer! Thanks for sharing!

If you were a Canadiens fan I probably wouldn't own at least half of those cards, you sonofa....... :beer:

The hole was a result of a trip to the bathroom at 3:30am. Gone reallllllly wrong :D
