Just wanted to pay tribute to Adam Graves. Incredible player who gave it all every night. This was a guy that stood outside MSG for hours AFTER a game just to chit-chat with fans about hockey and anything else on your mind.

Yes, he's worth the abuse I'll take for posting this picture from 16 years ago!

Theyve been the best team for 2 games in a row, but held practically pointless.

Kovalchuk misses the easy empty net, the rags come back and score.

Just a bad luck stretch for the rags. They played some of their best hockey over the last couple games but werent catching any breaks (until kovy missed the empty netter from inside the blue line and no one in front of him).

It's the "whatever glasses my parents could afford under their medical insurance plan" phase. Thankfully, I got my own medical insurance shortly thereafter and haven't looked back.

I almost had a chance to hang out with Adam Graves once. My Uncle's neighbor (at his old house) had a summer house up in Canada, and HIS neighbor was Adam Graves. They tried to arrange a time for him to come over to my Uncle's house and have a BBQ but I guess everyone's schedules never worked out.
