another 50 goal season, guy is a beast. Congrats to him, the caps and all his fans. He (for me at least) makes hockey very exciting.

6 time 50 goal scorer, put him up there with some pretty recognizable names. :goal::goal::goal:

Dang, he just keeps scoring. If he scores another 28 goals in the next 47 games, he'd become the 5th fastest player in NHL to score 500!

He can score, unfortunately his plus minus usually suck. In hockey he loves three things, scoring goals and hitting. Hopefully now winning is a higher priority, seems to be that way this year. This is what separates him from the true greats of the game, he don't know how to win and don't seem to have the same desire as some of the other players. I love watching him play, one of the most exciting players in the league.

See I never understand people who say this about him? Yes, in 2011-12 he had a semi-off year, but other than that, I haven't seen him have a poor season?

Is it because people look at the guy and just click "automatic" under the 50 goal per season column? There was another year he didn't have 50 goals but was very productive and had a sizable plus minus (for him). And in the lockout season he scored a pretty ridiculous amount of goals in under 50 games.

I think we all get jaded and forget that regardless of any benchmark stats these guys put up they can't continually raise that bar or even achieve the mark again, but can still be great. :goal:

I still think Sid is the more polished and well-rounded player, but you have proven me wrong about your continued drive to be one of the greats. Salute! :beer:

He's so exciting to watch. Throws D-men around and scores whenever he gets a chance. And with his new defencive attitude he is a perfect player. Wish he goes to the finals.
