The tone that "Hog" writes in sounds to me like he has a strong personal dislike towards Eklund. Doesn't he have anything more useful to do than to keep stats for every rumor that Eklund writes?
Scientifically, his stats are completely wrong. He is counting the # of Eklund's rumors that actually happen. They are rumors not fact. How do you verify if a rumor is true? Well, you can't, that is why it is called a rumor.
On a personal note-I enjoy reading Eklund's site because it is fun regardless of whether or not the rumors end up happening. The Blues blogger is a legitimate journalist and always has great insider info that other media outlets don't report.

When Eklund comes in and says stuff like, "Smyth has re-signed in Edmonton" that is no longer rumor, he is claiming to have some insider information. I have read the article, and am not surprised, but am glad somebody finally put some numbers behind Eklund's bs.
