what are the new designs here?
to me it just looks like they take a past product designs and move them forward to one product.

I was really hoping this was going to be something different, there was going to be something new.

To me, there is not.

I really have to echo this sentiment. This looks like Decades, H&P and most of the other ITG releases. Change the names on the cards, but the designs are all extremely similar to each other.

Same here. I realize there are some limitations with not having a license, but that doesn't mean the designs have to be the same across every product from the last 3-4 years. I love what ITG does for the hobby with their game used cards, no redemptions, how they reach out to fans and everything but the designs need to change. It looks the same!!!

That Cup Battles quad design has literally been the same design with a title change in last few Between the Pipes, H&P, Bleu Blanc Rouge, the last few Superlative, the Leafs set, Forever Rivals, Broad Street Bullies, Enforcers, Sportkings, Canada vs the World, Captain C, everything. That's just the quad jerseys! Not to mention half those other cards have looked really similar to other releases.

I LOVE ITG products, almost to a fault, but I have to agree this looks more like a Best Of collection than a new release. To be honest, I think a lot of us long timers were looking forward to a release as similar to the old one as possible, but none of these images remind me of that amazing release.
Stick work, now THAT still deserves my attention!!

I'll also echo the above. With the hype of this release based on the ITGU brand I was hoping for a product that could be visually differentiated from other ITG products but these are the same designs yet again.

I'll definitely take a pass on this product but am psyched for Stickwork.

ITG has looked very similar across the board for about four years now. I understand limitations in design from a lack of logos, but c'mon.

I like the look of the "On the Move" cards and one or two others. Where you really see the design fatigue is with the quads I think.

Designs aside there are a number of themes that are reused in most ITG products now; like Decades, Past Present & Future, Teammates, Rivals, Franchises, Cup Battles, etc. Player combinations might vary slightly but for the most part they feel very similar from one product to the next.

ITG designs are part of their identity so I don't mind a very ITG "feel" visually but I really need to see some fresh new subset ideas.

Every card company has a look ITG, UD, old OPC etc.. just like every band has a certain sound. I like ITG design and will likely crack some of this product. I really loved it the first time it was out. Is Felix Potvin in it? Didn't see him lol.

SPA looks nothing like The Cup which looks nothing like SPx which looks nothing like Artifacts which looks nothing like Ultimate which looks nothing like OPC etc so I'm not sure what you mean. While each UD brand looks similar year to year the brands all look different and have their own identity.

It just seems like most of ITG's brands look the same to the point where I can't tell which product the cards come from as they lack visual uniqueness.

Whether this is a result of no license or stale ideas I'm not sure but I hesitate to completely attribute it to the lack of license.

Too much negativty about ITG here...
I don't understand either why SPGU year after year remains as among the mosy broken products despite their grayish and bland design year after year...even looks same at end of 90's as now!

Yes true that ITG may have some similar designs what what about UD & Panini? The Cup has also gotten too similar at lately and not to mention about plenty of Panini's products but still ITG gets more negativty compared with others IMO...
I would love to see how UD & Panini product has seen if now they didnät have any NHL-license to work with after all...

Many here collects players who gets plenty cards from all those 3 companies available at the current hockeycard market (ITG, Oanini & UD), while there're other collectors players who doesn't get any love after all from other companies anymore like me and those who collects vintage players who're thankful by that ITG exists because otherwise we don't have anything to collect...

I don't agree that ITG Game-Used is too similar with their other previous releases at lately, execpt some sets like the Complete Jersey but that's all....I'm getting tired of seeing that UD uses same line-up of retired (most of the are undeserving to get that spot on those cards) players year after year while ITG often surprises us to give plenty of love to many unappreciated retired players.

As I mentioned earlier and many times earlier that I'm thankful by that ITG exists plus their customer services is light year ahead of the others IMO...
You can't tell same about UD's dito....

I totally agree. The same design of all ITG releases over the last several years.

I collect Bondra and ITG is the only company which makes cards of him now but all cards I have from them have the same design and it does not matter which year or release it is. Even the same 3-4 photos on every card.

I am thankful to ITG that they produce cards of retired players which don't have much love from other companies but now I rather save some money to buy rare 90s insert of Bondra than any of his new ITG card.
