I guess you can chalk me up to another disgruntled fan that the lockout has really turned off. I have almost completely lost interest in my hockey card collection, and have sold the vast majority of it off. I tried to get my collecting fix with football cards, but an unfortunate confrontation on the Beckett football board where I got stiffed on a deal and still ended up looking like the bad guy has pretty much turned me off to cards all together. So for now, I think I will stick to collecting Colorado Rockies memorabilia (a defunct team will never go on strike!). I don't plan on leaving the boards, and who knows, when the NHL comes back I may decide to pick it up again.
That being said, I have a stack of Gu cards that I can't be bothered to sell on ebay for <$5 apiece, so I thought a little contest might be fun. I took a small sample of songs out of my Limewire library and will list a few lines from 15 songs. Most, but not all, are the opening verse. The first person that can name all 15 songs and the artists correctly will receive a nice package. Most of these should be pretty easy, and if this goes well, I will do another contest in a couple of days. The first post here or PM that I get wins. I will put the ones that I think are easiest first. (please excuse some of the spelling - it's 2 in the morning)
