Just received an update from UD on one of the redemption jerseys. I was doing some checking for a friend. The Doug Harvey is being packed out. Now we'll just have to see how long it takes.

The CSR said it should be received in the next 7 days. Now we'll see if that actually happens. When I asked about the other ones that were redeemed, I was told that only the Harvey was in house. It must have taken an extremely slow boat from Korea...(where M&N jerseys are now made)

Hmmm...that's odd. The Gretzky jerseys have supposedly been "in stock, ready to ship" for several months. I wonder if they will ever actually arrive

FYI, the first of my friend's jerseys arrived today, Doug Harvey; it even includes the leather strap for the tie-down. The downside is that they're not made of wool, but polyester, in a wool-like fabric. Now he's waiting on Richard and Beliveau.

A heads-up for Canadians, they were sent UPS, invoiced for $300.00. Yet they didn't hit him for the standard UPS pillaging for brokerage fees. Just keep your eyes peeled for that.

Well My Jersey Of Grant Fuhr Arrived Today It Took 10 Weeks
I Should Have My Gordie Howe And Bernie Geoffrion In About 2-3 Weeks If All Holds True.it Is The 86/87 Oilers Road Jersey, I Will Get Him To Sign It At The Golf Turnament In Hilton Head South Carolina In April.

I have a Plante Jersey Redemption put now I am really worried about that Customs price-tag I may get nailed with. Guess I gotta find a fellow US member who frequently comes to Canada(so they can bring it over the boarder and mail it) or get rid of it.....

thanks for the clarification

Got the Dickie Moore jersey today. I love it but it's about 4 sizes too small. Dang these canadian winters that require me to have this much insulation.
=)

Got My Other Jersey Yesterday It Was To Be Gordie Howe Insted
They Sent A Terry Sawchuck Jersey And Chris Carlin Of Upperdeck Will Not Return My Phone Calls To Fix The Problem. Ud ****s

Here's the response I received from Chris Carlin about both the tax issue and the wrong jersey issue:

They are sending these out with less value on them going forward so even
if you have to pay taxes, it won't be that much. If customers receive
the wrong piece, they can absolutely send it back to us for replacement.
We had a couple issues with mispackaged jerseys, but we are happy to
correct that.

Yeah, but who is paying for the customs that was charged the first time and the shipping back to Upper Deck?? A friend of mine just got his Johnny Bower and Gordie Howe ones and had to pay $54 fees on each. To top it off, they were of Tim Horton and Terry Sawchuk.... So, he has to pay to send them back and then get dinged again for customs....

BRUTAL!!!!!!!!!!!

Rod.
