Lost/Stolen Silfverberg YG HG 04/10

I sold a Jakob Silfverberg Young Guns Spectrum Exclusives/HG serial numbered 04/10 to ebayer mustang2005gtblack back on March 20th. I shipped it via Registered Mail on March 22nd and according to the most recent tracking info, it was processed here in Edmonton at the depot but has stalled since. I refunded the ebayer since it's been over a month, but I'm hoping that it turns up either locally, at the Expo or elsewhere. If you happen to see it, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

I had a registered package go missing as well. Worth 400 bucks, not sure what to think, I guess everything needs to be registered now.
 
I am wondering if it is the same buyer for both of your packages?
Why would you register mail if they cannot find it or tell you if it was delivered?
This is really fishy.

I thought about that, but even if it was, Hextall and I are on opposite ends of the country and my package went missing at the main Canada Post Depot here in Edmonton. My buyer is in QC but nothing suggests that it left Alberta before it went "missing".
 
Mine got lost in customs going to the US. I think it's more of a case of them loosing the tracking.

Had a an Orr RC that came in and the tracking was missing on that as well. Obviously I would not file a fraudulant claim.

It didn't go missing! It was delivered but the postman didn't do the final process so the buyer is telling you he didn't recieve it...you can't prove he did so your out of luck...I could've done that to somebody with a high gloss 1/10 young gun for Zibanejad and the emerald certified /5 because the same thing happened to us, obviously I didn't but that's my take on the whole thing, here's the tracking number that doesn't look like it made it to me but it did, cheers, Joey

You should always have a signature conformation. If a package goes missing it pretty much eliminates the buyer. Registered is a touchy thing. It can only be insured for up to $100 in Canada and only $60 to the US. Registered is supposed to be the most secure way of shipping but I have had two of them go missing and zero X-post packages. May be time to stop the registered shipping and go X-post.

Although I do believe you can insure for more the the 100/60 if you pay, I'm along the same thinking that express is the way to go.

I think I'm in the same boat now too, really sucks though as Registered should be the safest route to take.
 
I always use "expedited services" from canada post... You can put the insurance you want (up to 5000$ in canada - 1000$ to US), you can ask a delivery confirmation and it's a lot cheaper then Xpresspost (if you use paypal label services or have the commercial # of canada post).
