Man, Upper Deck logo and all!!!

I'll give the seller a little bit of credit, he's not trying to claim the card is something it's not ..... unless you count the trademark violation, or the fact it's supposed to be a direct knock off version of real UD cards.

$100 for a custom made card? As someone who owns a fair number of custom made cards (that I have paid someone else to make) - the price is ludicrous.

This is where we're at now. People will pay money for fake cards with logos of Upper Deck and the NHL without their consent. Why anyone would want to own this card or any other like it is beyond me.

I think Upper Deck has a good case to shut this seller down... the logos.. the card design... even has the “not game worn” on it like the authentic UD cards...

The real thing, with actual game used jersey, goes for about $200-250. Can't see why someone would pay $100 for what is essentially a photocopy with a piece of replica jersey attached.

Lol. Of course UD has a good case. You can't just copy someone else's work and throw their brand on a product without their permission.

Upper Deck has all the case they want. Seller could be sued for substantial amounts of money for this card design. Good luck.

This guy has been doing this for years and UD is still unable to shut him down. Ebay does nothing about it either.

FRIGHTENING what you may potentially be purchasing at any time in this day and age.

Someone could literally buy the authentic card and, with enough technical wherewithal and skill, replicate it and sell you the fraudulent version.

Have fun with that boys and girls!

If you think you can do a better job than any card company, then go to a bank, get a loan for $8,000,000 and start your own company, rather then try to use logo's and brands you shouldn't be to mislead someone who might not even know what " custom made " means

The resale value alone has to be 10%.

Soon card companies will have to microchip their cards to prevent tampering and reprinting. I'll give the seller credit, it looks like a well done custom (without being able to hold it in my hand).

Not to hijack this thread..... as I agree with a lot that has been said and expressed in the above posts...... but here are a few custom cards that I have created and been selling. Curious what you all think of them and what your feedback would be:

These are the most expensive ones.

Those are amazing looking, first off. Secondly, though, to bring it back in line with the thread, is unless you have the NHL's permission to use their logo, they could come after you for copyright infringement. I'm not 100% sure of individuals' likeness (photos of the individuals in question), if you need to have any kind of permission from their estates to use them or not.
