Maple leaf gardens demoltion

Well I walked by the Gardens again last night.....I have been looking inside the front doors on Carlton street for the past few weeks now.....And well yesterday or this past week Demolition inside has begun.....From what I was able to see the GOLD section and the Red section has been broken apart....there is a bunch of rubble now on what was the ice......The scoreboard was taken down a few weeks ago, and those weird lights that hung from the rafters were finally taken down.....There was still a ton of seats though left in the gardens when the leafs left, so I expect a bunch of seats showing up very soon on the market......

If you go to the gardens, you can see inside a little bit at the doors, or get a milk crate or something to stand on and you can see over the top of the doors and inside the gardens......

sad. Spent a small fortune when the seats first went on sale, and was told get them now because they will be gone in a few days. Also remember being one of the first people in and last to leave when they held their auction, and we were all told that this will be the last official event to ever be held at the Gardens. Oh well... heard that there may be another auction at some point??
