This thread was done for previous shows, so I thought I'd start it up this time around. :)

Is there going to be a meeting place on certain days for the HI gang to get together? Just wondering

Also, somewhat overlapping on what people have said in the first TO show thread, but here goes anyway:

-What days will you be here?
-What will you be wearing?
-What all will you be looking for at the show?

Finally, and most importantly
-How will you praise me when you see me there? ;) :D (if applicable :rolleyes: )

It'd be a great way to meet up with some of the crazies we all see in chat/MSN :D

EDIT: I guess I should start with this, despite Glenn beating me to the punch :p

-Saturday, Sunday maybe
-Huge guy in a black coat, possibly heckling Quincy (what do I mean possibly ;) :D)
-Run for the Cup cards, that annoying Salming/Turnbull dual auto to complete the set, and SHINIES! :D

Im hoping to be there Friday and Saturday, wearing my Whalers white jersey with Dineen's numbers (11).

I'll be hunting for Cam Ward, Eric Staal ruby Crown Royale :rolleyes:, and a bunch of cards to finish my master sets of Pacific Exclusive and 04 Invincible :cool:

"Praise" isn't really the word that comes to mind :p

Perhaps a Modano jersey, but I always get warm wearing a jersey, so you may just have to spot me by my dashing good looks

-What all will you be looking for at the show?
Modano Stuff, and my last 9 Country of Origins (look out Mario!)

I'll be there all day Friday, and parts of Saturday and Sunday

I'll probably be wearing some sort of Gretzky propaganda...

I'll be looking for Gretzky cards (surprise) and see if anyone has figured out Artifacts :rolleyes:.

May start will my Hull Stars Jersey, switch to the Hull Red Wings Jersey or Phoenix Jersey (I just wish my Sharks - PAT FALLOON Jersey still fit, as that is an eye catcher)

-What all will you be looking for at the show?
The last 214 or so Brett Hull cards (now 20-30 more because of UD Artifacts, **** you UD) the few missing Jim Dowd and John Davidson cards I need and try to fill in a BUNCH of started sets.

I'll be there on Saturday from 11;30 or so on till closing.

Not sure what I'll be wearing, you'll be able to pick me out as one of the older guys at the show,lol.


I'll be searching for Sean Burke cards for me and a few items for some good people on this and another board.

Hope to meet a bunch of you folks.

BTW , Wes, I'll bring my Shanny Millenium sig with me, its available for any Shanny certified auto you can muster, even if its less in bv is fine with me.

what am I looking for...good time, some cards I need, ESPECIALLY C55 Comrie jersey, some artifacts stuff, Powerplay Powerscripts or whatever the autos are called, comrie of course. Just, stuff.



I'd say we should do a meet up,
but from my experience, the last couple shows, the same 6 people show up, and we all know each other anyway.
It's a good idea, but, running into a boardie on the floor, and then just cruising for a bit and randomly bumping into boardies that boardie knows tends to be the best way to meet the crew. I will call it, seven degress of Hobby Insider

I'd say you'd be able to find me at the spawn booth, but, spawn booth won't be there, so I don't know where I'm going to waste 80% of my time there, guess I'll resort to sifting through boxes of 1-5$ parallels.

I'll be the yokel wearing a Tanguay auto'd jersey, looking completely friggin' lost. I won't be shopping for anything, since I'm poorer than dirt, so you'll likely just see me wandering around aimlessly, with a big ol' binder containing my Tanguay collection, muttering "Art...i....facts" under my breath ......

As for the days, I dunno yet, since it'll all depend whether or not there is space on a flight for me.....

I'll be wearing a Chiefs Jersey (slapshot) and have medium long brown hair and glasses. Also, I'll be there with my dad.

I'll be looking for Popovic, Gilmour, Cujo, 02-03 Premier Bronze Auto's, and more :)

I don't know what I'm wearing to work Monday so planning my wardrobe 2 weeks in advance is a little tough. Uh, maybe the bling-bling toque depending on if the UD girl is in the house.

I'll be looking for...well...the UD girl.

If you want to find me you can probably walk up to most dealers and tell them you're looking for that ()(*@#$ Ferris guy. Most of them will be happy to point you in my direction.

(seriously I'll probably be at the Wests Sportscard booth or in the presence of Cory/Will-411 or Canuck2424/Mark...if they're lucky)

I'll be there all three days. Definately all day Friday and Saturday, and only half the day Sunday.
I'll be wearing my Lecavalier jersey at least one day, my personalized Capitals jersey another, and probably just my UMBC hoodie the other. I may or may not have my bad-arse Hobby Insider hat, too *hint hint to all those who paid for one but haven't worn it yet* *coughMARKcough*
I'll be looking for Vinny's I need, emeralds I need, Exclusives I need...pretty much just stuff I need :D
 
I was going to point out that my idol at the show is that grotesquely huge man with the 100 dollar bills in his showcase that gives people 5% book for their cards that people line up to sell to.
