More cities express interest in Penguins!

Well the suitor's are starting to line up for the Pen's...

What with Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Houston and Portland showing interest. Could it be a sense that Mario & company are seeking further bargaining chips. Or are they being serious about a re-location?

Cause, I remember back when Peter Pockington was the owner here in Edmonton. And almost every month he was spouting off about a possible re-location to either Houston or Portland.....

I understand the whole money issue thing but I say if and only if Pittsburgh moves please send em north of the border where more teams belong.

Oklahoma has a good sized population, but I dont know how well the public would take to hockey. Portland has had teams in the past (I think the Hawks still play there) and would be a good market if it weren't in the middle of nowhere.

No way this team goes North of the 49th. However, if this were the coyotes instead of the Penguins, they'd already be in the Kitchener/Cambridge/Waterloo Region.

Out of all 4 of those teams and if they decide to move, I hope they make Portland their new home, closest one to BC, I can always make the drive down there and see Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Fleury. What a treat that would be for the Western Conference. But I'm sure the NHL would want to keep all that bright, young talent in the Eastern Conference.
