Well, another day at the flea market another couple of Ovechkins, but we'll get to that later.
Went into not expecting much, with a couplke cards to trade and about $30, had no idea what was gonna happen next. I was able to strike up an amazing deal which sent a 02-03 Titaium Mogilny Patch, 05-06 Beehive Scrapbook auto Havlat, and a 05-06 Beehive Remarkable Materials Lafleur to my local dealer, and me receiving an 05-06 Upperdeck Series 2 Ovechkin Young Gun, In Great Condition.
At this point I was pretty happy with myself, but with time to kill, I opted for 7 packs of UD series 2. With three packs left, I challenged my friend/dealer to pack wars, three rounds, Height of player, shut-outs, and PIM. First round I lost a rookie threads since I pulled a pack full of shorties, thrid round won but nothing too spectacular. Now in the second round, I might have lost a friend. We both decided on shut-outs to be the decider who won the pack. I was shocked when my dealer pulled another Ovechkin Young Gun in his pack, but the kicker was not a single goalie to be seen. I needed one goalie with at least one shout-out and the Ovechkin was mine :O.
To say the least, I had found a Vesa Toskala within that pack, with a recorded 2 shut-out. To sya the least, I walked away pretty happy, even though the second ovechkin has some damage. I'm not complaining
