HELLOOOOOO and how are ya? Photobucket is STILL down as of 9:30PM on the 27th of December, so in a fit of desperation I've decided to try Flickr. It's not going so well, but I'm off work for the next six days so I've got nothing better to do. PLUS, I quit the hobby (hahahahahaaa) so there isn't all that much to show.........so let's get to it!!

One thing I'm still collecting is UD Artifacts Honoured Members, now in the 5th year of their 3-year run. Here's two players I couldn't care less about who set me back a small fortune..........

And two players who I like 10X as much for half the price hahahahahaa......

I'm currently 8/10 for this year's set, just need the Lundquist & Lemieux autos................

The two best cards I picked up this years were my Cyclone Taylor bookends. The very first one, a 1910 C56 and, at the time I bought it, the last one, a 2017/18 Leaf Pearl relic...............

Other neat-o cards............ I always wanted a Roberto Luongo 1/1 because I love him :canucks:

Two cards I got from Darcy at the giant Langley show back in........ November? The first one I traded away the ITG Used 4-relic card that I bought off Curt, which included a Cyclone Taylor piece but I never really fell in love with it because he was sharing the card with three other players and then owning the Leaf Pearl card made it redundant. So thanks go out to both Darcy and Curt!

And this one I bought for money because I'm verrrryyyyyy slowly piecing together the 2001/02 UD Stanley Cup relics, and I guess I wanted to help Darcy pay for the trip to Langley from......... Yellowknife? Thunder Bay?? Somewhere out there anyways........

I got this one out of the blue from a Twitter friend from back east, for my UD Hall of Shame collection nyuk nyuk nyuk!!!

Oopsies!!!

Finally, we end with #17 in your program & #1 in your hearts, yes I'm STILL collecting Ryan Kesler :dance::dance:

One thing I'm absolutely sure I bought this year was this 1/1 shield from ITG Customer Appreciation Night (I'm assuming it was an expo redemption) of May 3rd, 2014. I saw the card on eBay maybe three years ago for a $375 BIN/OBO and put it in my watch list because I figured no one else would go near it. But then a couple months later IT GOT BOUGHT!!!???!!!

Oh well, you can't own them all right? BUT THEN, a few months ago it popped up again, at auction, with a 99-cent start and no reserve. Cost me $150. No picture and ugly as bleep, but a shield is a shield is a shield........

Anddddddddd last, this one is thanks to Jeff (The Chinner) Chin, who messaged me one night about an auction from NHL.com........... a 2010/11 Selke Trophy plaque which was displayed in Hockey Hall of Fame itself!!!

I won it. I paid the $58 shipping fee for it, which I thought was outrageous for something that appeared to be a little larger than an Oscar or Emmy. Until it arrived, and then I understood that it costs money to ship something FORTY-TWO inches tall BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA

So as we head into 2020, I believe the question, "Who's the greatest Kesler collector of them all?" has been put to rest. All of those answering with, "Who cares?" your votes have been disquaified :p

Only took 85 minutes to do all that with Flickr. Happy New Years everyone!!!!!!!

Any time you see Cyclone Taylor it's one heck of a post. Congrats on those and the rest of your loot

Man, that Plaque is cool. I can only imagine your reaction when you received that massive thing! Totally awesome man.

Congrats on all of these pickups! Always like your show and tells.

Awesome post Eddie! The 1910 Cyclone is an absolute GEM! Love the honored members...when you are ready to sell that PC let me know!!!!! :D

Those Honoured Members/Hopefuls Artifacts cards are proving to be two of the most popular subsets of recent years. You know its hot when Larry Robinson and Cournoyer autos go for pushing $200 or more.

Not many different words I can use to describe that plaque that hasn't been said, but congratulations. I'm not sure there could be a better piece to top off your Kesler collection.

Very nice cards and very nice meeting you at the Langley show! Fire me a text sometime and let’s talk cards. You’ve got my number after all. Hahah

That plaque is absolutely mind blowing... I didn’t know they sold off anything... I assumed it went into storage... awesome piece!!!!

Very cool plaque! The real question that I didn't see get asked, though, is where are you going to display it?? I'd suggest in the living room, right above the sofa. Get rid of any/all family photos you may have there. This glorious piece of art is the new centerpiece, not just for your collection, but for the entire house and family.
