New Job and the Week of Mail

I just finished my first week at a new job. The past month has been interesting in that respect. Long story short, I came to work one day and my boss said that my position was being eliminated to cut costs and what not. Was a surprise as I had zero hint of anything like that in the works, and I did my job well and did anything they asked of me. In the end it worked out great. I love the new job and it is with a much larger company with a lot more stability than a mom and pop operation like where I was working previously. So yeah, very happy with that :D

Now to the mail :) First off a couple of thank you's. The Belfour/Tellqvist comes from Jaywings(Jason)...always great to deal with :) The Parise Beehive Red comes from bryanstarock (Bryan)...Bryan pm'd me that he had pulled this card and sent it my way for nothing, which was very much appreciated from a top notch hobby insider member :)

Decided to continue on the Belfour Autograph path. I had a few still, and wasn't sure whether I was going to continue with him or not due to the sheer volume of cards and not really wanting to pick up another PC in essence. I figured what the heck, he did play for UND and won a NC there with them. Nice lead in to the first mail scan :)

I kind of feel like Barrie (Prime) with a 3 paragraph lead in to my mail :p

First, Congrats on the new job. Glad to hear you found a new/better opportunity so quick.:)

Next, Starting up with both Barrie and Wes today, huh. Feeling a bit frisky, eh.:eek: :p

Shawn, congrats on the new gig, sounds like it all worked out for the better. Very tidy haul of shiny stuff, I like all the Belfour sigs, those Lonestar auto's are very cool.
BTW, that Wes has pies with him at all times, I better keep my head up if he doesn't win the Stanley Cup pool;)

Oh, so now you're heckling me on my opening's to my mail calls are ya? Ok then, I see how it's gonna be. Consider my offer recinded as your personal protection when you become rich and famous! :rolleyes: ;)

Oh yeah, the goodness, almost forgot becuase of my 3 paragraphs......well, that Belfour stuff is awesome looking! Good to hear you picked him up again. You can tell he signed the bottom 3, left to right, in that order because the sig gets a little off course as the beer goes in.......:eek:

Good job on the Hinote Exclusives, that's not seen much these days. And thanks for blowing Zach up for Wes! :D

Now as for the haul of 'shinies', I'm unawares as where to begin! :confused: So that being the case! All is good! :cool:

Thanks alot for posting up the purty pics! Especially for the Beehive Parise. I'm sensing a hint of Man Love from the W00t Master! ;) j/k as he ducks the numerous pies thrown his way!
 
Shawn - Nice loot ya got there. Congrats on landing that new job. I'm sure that must have been stressful, but in the end good things happen to good people. :)
