New Sale Thread

So recently my wife and I received the news that our one year old son had been diagnosed with SMA type 2 (spinal muscular atrophy) which is a genetic disease that doesn't allow the core muscles to grow and be strengthened. Unless we see a miracle our son will likely be in a wheel chair for life. It's been a tough diagnosis to accept, and it sure brings perspective into life in many ways. I will have to slow down my spending on my Iggy and Backlund pc's, but I still hope to add cards here and there. Since there will be many medical related expenses coming our way in the future, I've decided it's time to take the first step towards selling cards from my personal collection. At this time my Iginla and Backlund pc will be staying intact, and many of my other high end Flames cards. But as we go forward from here, I will have to make more decisions in what I may need to sell. So as for cards in this thread, nothing too crazy big here, a lot of smaller player collections being broken up, but it's step one for me in the attempts to move even more important cards to me down the road. So feel free to pm if you are interested in a player lot, or in any specific cards. Thanks for looking

So sorry to hear that Jayden. News like that always reminds me that this hobby is just that, a hobby - so many other things take priority.

All the best going forward with your son and I hope you are still able to enjoy collecting - it can be a nice escape.
