Next product to rip?

Hi all,


I get the urge to do a little ripping every now and then. Usually just sell whatever I hit - but I'm getting that urge again. SP Legendary Signatures was more fun that I could have imagined, but that was a rare product where the hits could pay back the box and more.

With Ice and OPC Platinum on deck, what might be the better rip? I know I opened a box of Allure and got obliterated return wise.

Price on Ice is more reasonable and the extra pack gives a bit more hope. Would you open Ice over Platinum or wait for another product this summer?

If the price on Ice isn't bad then I would go Ice. Platinum jumped up $100 a box. You get more inserts but most will be $1 cards and you get the same 1 auto per box.

I usually like platinum. I haven't broken Ice in a while. However, I am very intrigued by 22-23 Parkhurst Champions. I feel like putting together another set and I think this may be a good one. Complete the set, maybe advance a little but just collect autos of my usual Red Wings and also some of my favourites when I was growing up.

Honestly though, I would still like to try a box of Platinum upon release but I may not break any this year. I would like to try at least 1 box of ICE since it's been a while. If the price is right I may purchase a couple more.

Parkhurst Champions has the Jukebox Heroes which remind me of the Upper Deck SE die cut all stars from basketball. Very nice looking cards. Haven’t seen the checklist yet to know who is in it but I think they could be very popular.

Stay away from SPGU, SPX, Ice, Trilogy and Synergy. They're niche sets with limited collectors.

OPC Hobby is fun and it's widely collected product.
