One Unique Oilers Mailday for me...

It's been quite some time since I've posted recent Oil pickups, and I rarely do to be honest.

However, in the process of scanning my new pride & joy, I thought I would share my most recent acquisitions with my fellow H.I. members.

First up... a few teaser's of some new cards I picked up recently.

It's been awhile since I've picked up an SPGU card..but I had to have this one:



Ultimate Masterpieces - I wish these were serial numbered, but I will add gorgeous cards like these any day!

Now this actually was supposed to be my chart topper, but even a dual rookie shield from The Cup, of one of the best Oilers players ever can get surpassed in the collection.
Regardless, I am so happy to have this beauty in my collection:

1st side - It definitely was not necessary for me to have another Paajarvi


2nd side - But when Taylor Hall is on the other side, it really doesn't matter !!!

I was so incredibly stoked to add this Hall/Paajarvi Rookie Shield to my Oilers collection.


Now as I mentioned, somehow I managed to pickup something that I wanted even more...and the reason for this post...........

After a month of trying to work out a deal on this card, the seller finally caved to my insistent badgering :devil:

There is nothing more satisfying than acquiring such a rare 1 of 1 card of your top two PC guys!
This is definitely my best pickup of 2014 so far!

Wow Chris, those are huge PC adds for you. I knew you were moving some things around to bring in an important piece but I didn't realize it was that big or that there were two monsters finding their way home. Big congrats dude, thanks for sharing!
