Pickups from the Toronto Expo...

Hey everyone,


Just got back from the Toronto Sports Card & Memorabilia Expo and I thought I'd share my pickups.

As usual, there is always tons to see when browsing the tables. If you've never made the trip I would suggest doing so at least once. The atmosphere is really fun and there is defintely something for every kind of collector.

I only managed to snag two cards (went for quality or quantity this year), but I think they both are great fits for my collection. The Plante was a pickup from a nice dealer right before I left the show, while the Sawchuk was from HI's very own Quincy to help me with my ongoing Upper Deck 300 Win Club set. Thanks, man!

So that's it. No Enroth's to report sadly. Though I saw a few that I were surprised to see, I figured I wouldn't be able to snag any new ones for the master collection. I think these two fill out my goalie PC just fine.

I appreciate that. I've always wanted a select few vintage pieces for my goalie collection and these mesh perfectly under the criteria I was going for.

Come to think of it, I should probably start a thread on here at some point showcasing this my 300 Win Club set progress. It really is a beautiful set in my opinion with a lot of hockey history within it.
