Hi guys, I haven't been around in what seems to be forever and now it's time to sell some stuff before I forget about it completely.

I have 2 Dual Patch sets that I'm looking to sell:
02/03 Crown Royale
and
04/05 Luxury Suite

My Question to you is, do you think I would be better off selling them as sets or in singles? I'm leaning towards singles but they took me a long time to put together so it would be hard to see them split up.

Thanks for the opinions and here's some scans if that helps (sorry, there's lots!):

Those are beauties - I don't think I could sell them after putting all the work into them.........

I'd say singles as it would maximize your profits. I know about 10 people looking for that Roy/Forsberg Crown Royale dual patch, that card is NAILS tough.

BTW, if you do move them, put me down for that Palffy/Deadmarsh from Luxury Suite and the Smolinski/Deadmarsh from Crown Royale.;)

Oh man, the patches on all your cards are AMAZING! I could never sell those... But definitely singles will maximize profits, you can get Team or Player collectors in on the battle :)

For sets, I would normally say sell as a set (because you would only be able to get rid on the best cards and be left with junk). But in this case, all your cards in the set are GREAT cards and I think you would do very well selling as singles. GL whatever you decide.

BTW...I would like a shot at the Columbus card if you break up these sets :)

these patches are beautiful but if you decide to break them up i am interested in the toronto ones

Thanks for all the advice guys.
It was definitely fun putting these sets together. But they're just cards and it's time to move on.

It appears the overwhelming majority agree that these should go as singles. I think the best way is to just list them on ebay. I would have no idea what to ask if I sold them on the boards. I'll let everyone know who expressed interest in them when they're up.

For ease and quickness of sale definitly sell as a set. But I think you woudl probably up your profits by 50-100% if you sell them as singles.

P.S. If you decide to sell as singles, I'd love a shot at the Dual Sedin patch.

Good luck in your sales!

Singles. With those swatches you will lose out on a lot if you sell them as sets. There are lots of people looking for singles from those sets, not sure how many would be willing to purchase a full set for market value.

Its a really hard question..
If im selling as a set i would want to get more money as i have putted some time and effort in acquiring the whole set.. The problem is that the buyer will see it differently.. They would expect the price to be lower since they are buying the card in lot..

Im not sure its clear but this is why i think its a hard question..
Please comment on that to see if i know what im talking about ;P

Thanks
