Hi Guys,

This is a real stupid problem and I feel like a dumba** for asking this, but what the heck happend to the delay start option on ebay?

I am trying to list something on ebay.ca and there used to be an option to delay the start time (for a fee). I haven't listed for a while and they change things all around. Now I can't find the delay start option.

Searching on the bay help section doesn't help at all. It is totally useless. Someone said to upgrade your flashplayer and I did to no avail...

Hope someone knows the answer.

Thanks.

Will

Shouldn't be too hard to find as long as you are using a current version of IE, Firefox, Safari, etc. When you are making up a sell page, there is a big area titled: "Choose how you'd like to sell you item". From here, you have to input the price, quantity and finally, duration. Under duration, you can select "Schedule start time". Click the bubble and it will allow you to start the auction whenever you like for 10 cents extra. If this still doesn't work, you can download the Turbo lister app from eBay. Go to "Site map" from the eBay home page at the top of the screen and click "Turbo lister" under "Selling tools". Follow the directions to download the app. Hope this helps.

I used this option a week ago on ebay.ca, so it's still there for sure. I think it shows up after you've done most of the listing.

hey thanks guys for the input.

I know it is suppose to be there under duration, but it is not. Ebay help said to click on

Choose how you'd like to sell your item --- Add or remove options

and it should allow you to select delay start as an option,

but when I click it, it isn't there as an option. Like I said, I feel like such a dumba** and it is so frustrating.

does it matter that I am listing on ebay.ca?

Problem Solved

For some reason my credit card is no longer on file with ebay and that's why they didn't offer Delay start as an option (beats me why)

added my credit card and the option has returned.

the Ebay Live Help guy was quite helpful. Kudos to them.

thanks for your input.
