Question for Canadian Sellers?

Is paypal not a required method of payment? I thought it was mandatory on all auctions? I just won a pretty pricey card and didn't notice until after I won that paypal was not listed as a method of payment. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've been caught by that a couple times. There are a few sellers out there that dont take Paypal. Its not a requirement that they use it. Sorry to hear what happened. Hopefully you can get them the $$ and you get your card.

I don't think Paypal is required on eBay US or Canada yet. US has that it just has to be a online Payment service approved by eBay. eBay Canada still allows for check/money order, but that will be gone soon I'm sure.

Thanks for the help guys. I know he takes paypal as it is listed in his other auctions. I guess he is trying to avoid the fees since it is a high value card.

Its either that or he is paranoid about a paypal claim of non receipt. PM him and make sure he wont make an exception and take Paypal for you as you no doubt have high positive feedback.

Good idea, I will probably try that, especially since I have bought from him before.
