Question Regarding 2001-02 Fleer Greats of the Game Autographs

I picked up a Gilbert Perrault from the set, mainly because I wanted a nice Perrault AU.

I noticed a few weird things about the card, there are no stats on the back of the card like the other ones that I have seen, also the foil semi-circle on the top left of the card is gold not silver.

Some guy almost shat his pants when he saw it and he really wanted the card.

Is it some kind of parallel? It really doesn't matter to me, I was just curious.

No... there is only one flavor of the Greats of the Game Autographs. As you mentioned, the border around the picture is gold and the autograph is along the bottom white border.

On the regular base card, the border around the picture is silver and there is a team logo along the bottom white border.

The autographed cards only had a COA statement on back.

I don't believe Perreault is listed as a short print, but some of the non-sp's are easier to find than others.

Thanks, It really wasn't a big deal, I just couldn't understand why someone would care so much about it!

Haha, I was slumming it at the Dufferin Mall show! You never know what is going to happen there :S
