Made his debut with the Boston Bruins during the 1976-77 registering 28 points in 75 games.
Played also in the WHA with the Quebec Nordiques (56 points in 53 games).
Returned to North America after a few seasons away for the 1980-81 season and had 112 points in 147 games for the Edmonton Oilers over two seasons.
Continued his career in Europe until the 1991-92 season.
Represented Finland in 1 Olympic Games, 3 World Championships and 3 Canada Cups.
Father of former NHLer Niklas Hagman.
Died today at the age of 61. Rest in peace "Hakki"!
