R.I.P. Ryan Jimmo

He was killed early this morning outside of a club in Edmonton by a hit and run driver after getting into an altercation with the occupants of that vehicle. Always heard he was a real character; but a standup guy. Sad to hear.

Ugh...what a disgusting way to go. Only had a couple dealings with Ryan here and there when I wrote about MMA but they were all positive. Always outspoken but always meant well in the end.

Cup of coffee UFC vet but multi-time PRIDE vet Amar Suloev passed away this morning too. If you guys haven't seen what became of his life in future years, Karim Zidan has some amazing stuff up on Bloody Elbow about him.

Update to this story - The vehicle has been recovered. No update on suspects right now though.

Update again - 2 suspects found and charged. Ages 23 and 21. Yeesh.
