Well, the last few box breaks haven't been as nice to me as I would have liked, but that's not stopping me from trying to pick up another box of SPA later today!
SPA box
SOTT Nagy (would be low on my ranking of SOTTs)
SOTT Dual Alfredsson/Hossa redemption (would be low on my ranking of duals)
Rookie Redemption - Red Wings
Rookie Buyback - 03-04 SP Authentic Kesler
Future Watch - Angelstad, Ulmer
Does anyone know if any of the Dual SOTTs redemption might be short prints, or if all of them are #/100? Let me know, as it would be nice to know before trading the dual. All the SPA are for trade except the futures watches as I think I'll try to come close to completing the base set with the next box. I'd like to get a Hurricanes RR in exchange for the Red Wings.
The next two boxes are 03-04 UD Classic Portraits and 04-05 Franchises East. Not real thrilled with the cards from either of them.
Now the sweetest thing about these two boxes was a gem for the store owner. I don't like the masks, busts, etc. in some boxes, I just want the cards, so I told the owner unless he would be willing to sell me the box minus the bust, I was not interested. After hesistating, he was thrilled with the bust: Tony Espisito 500 Goal Scorers Auto #ed 47/50
! He's still got it if anyone is interested.
The other two boxes were 03-04 BAP memorabilia. After seeing others on the boards post emerald pulls, it was nice to get finally get my own after about 8 boxes opened of this product. Here's the loot, with everything for trade except the Ruutu rookie.
Box 1
Practice Makes Perfect Jersey – Chris Pronger – PMP-07
Parallels – Prospal (ruby), Staal (sapphire)
Rookies – Ruutu, Tootoo, Gordon, Krahn, Hamhuis
Super Rookie – Higgins
Deep in the Crease - Chicago, Toronto
Masks – Giguere, Weekes, Thibault
Box 2
Stanley Cup Playoffs Jersey – Scott Niedermayer – SCP-11 (beautiful 2-color swatch with a seam)
Parallels – Kovalev (emerald
), Whitney (ruby), Leclaire (ruby), Vermette (sapphire)
Rookies – Sejna, Hamhuis, Hale, Vermette
Deep in the Crease – Atlanta, Pittsburgh
Masks – Hasek, Burke, Fleury
Here's a scan of a few cards. Sorry about the poor quality, trying to get it done in too quick of a hurry.
Thanks for the read.
