Hi gang, I have been out of the game for awhile and decided to part ways with the rest of my Rick Nash Collection.

I have listed quite a few Rick Nash autographs with no bites. So I decided to see what has been selling for him. I don't see much of him sold at all lately. hmm

What happened? He plays for a big market ( New York ) 2 gold medals and being from Canada. Playing in the Stanley Cup for the first time. What is not to like?

Keep in mind, I sold all my bigger Nash's awhile ago and just figured it would be a good time to let the rest go if possible. I have started the listings 9.99 in auction and I have way more money in the ones I am currently selling for.

I have a huge lot of jersey cards that need to go too. But afraid that is not going to happen.

I think you answered your own question. He hasn't accomplished anything in the NHL and really hasn't lived up to his hype and expectations.

Fair enough, thought I was missing something, I have not been paying attention to hockey cards even though he is in a bigger market.

Thought maybe over saturation of cards could be it :)

Is he playing in the Stanley Cup finals??? Thankfully, the Rangers picked that bad contract up and not the Flyers- we still need 2 or 3 more compliance buyouts.

I struggled to sell my 1/1's and still having trouble selling the rest. I've sold a lot less then what I was hoping to get and the current ones I have, I keep dropping the price in hopes of getting an offer.

The problem is that many fans has for a very long time treated him like a 90-100 point scorer hence the execptions that his cards is gonna selling very well then when he actaully only has broken the 70-barrier just ONCE in his career.

So no way that he's an superstar sorry...a good player yes but nothing more!

Overrated is all it really is. I was pumped at first when the Rangers got him but he has all but disappeared when the Rags need him most. He is a serviceable player just not a superstar that everyone assumed he would become.

I wouldn't say "no love". I've been picking up Select Golds /10 when they're cheap. There was a Rick Nash up last week started at $5. Threw a $20 bid on it and forgot about it.

Auction ended for $105.

I probably would have made an offer for the autographs to add to my Nash Collection but currently have a problem with funds. Being unemployed at this time kinda makes you put the hobby on the pause until things change.

I'm still actively collecting Nash. Got beat out for that select gold by a ways. Prices have gone up since he has been a NYR, but have certainly plateaued since he had been very quiet in the playoffs.

I use to collect Nash a few years ago, not to the extent like Rich does, but I did have 50, or so of his autos. Still have most of them, but doubt I`d ever recoup my initial purchase prices on most of them.

Well with him playing for team Canada and winning 2 Golds is huge in my books. Not many players get a chance to win 2 Golds. I remember when Marty St Louis got left off the gold team last year and was so miffed he asked for trade from Yzerman. Now look he gets a chance to be in Stanley cup again. I doubt he will win it though especially when LA is up 3-0.
