Hey all I was looking at the individual player stats and there is only a handful of games left. I noticed there might only be 2 players with a just barely over 100 points this year. Does anyone think there will ever be a player to get over 150 ever again in NHL? Just want to hear some opinions on this.

Sure it's possible for a player to be over 150 pts. Might not be until Crosby or Ovechkin really hit their stride, but it's definitely possible I think.

Won't happen until they reduce the size of goalie gear back to size used in early 80's. Chances of that happening is slim as goalies will argue they need extra padding for safety reasons created by composite sticks.
Isn't advancement in technology great??:|

Unless you get rid of the trap it will never happen--just look at N.J.it seems like all their games are 2 to 1.As well if scoring doesn't increase I can't see hockey going over big in the U.S. Just my 2 cents worth.

With OT and the 20 powerplays a night players should be able to 120+ points. I really dislike the OT, shoot out and all the penalties. Over the glass, Lifting a stick, accidently bumping a player...stupid penalties. I agree with major obstructions, interference or even guys shooting it over the glass on purpose being penalties. There are WAY too many soft penalties called....I hate them.
